Back for 2nd Softball Slam. We hit it out of the park - the event was a success! Raised over $7000. Thank you to all the teams that came out to support us!

 

Our first ever softball slam was a huge success. There were prizes, silent auction, beer garden, food and of course, Slo-pitch. Held at King George Park in Richmond we were able to raise over $10,000. Thank you to Summit Customer Brokers for their continual support and all the teams that came out to play.

 

Presented by Summit Customs Broker (www.summitcb.com). The event was held in Burnaby and featured the band Wager. A great night was had by all and we raised over $8000. Thank you for all your support.

 

The music is back and we will be having even more fun for a good cause. Featuring Nicky Evans, Transnoodle and special guests, we promise you'll be able to feel the good vibes. This year we will be donating all the money raised to Kely's Support Group. Please check out their website for more informtation.

 

Good music, positive vibes, and generousity was everywhere on this night. We were able to raise close to 15,000 Hong Kong dollars during the evening . A big thanks goes out to everyone that came out and supported Rubina Hope For Kids. All the performers, Lucinda, Nick, Tim, Neil, Ken, Cam and Pete made the night magic. Again a big thank you to our generous sponsors The Flying Pan, and Wildfire who are providing door prizes, and V13 who is allowing us to use their venue.

 

A very big thank you to Sharmaine Shultz, Gary Eng, and Rick Hill of Summit Customs Brokers (www.summitcb.com www.summitcustomsbrokers.com ) and the Richmond Hotel and Convention Center who helped us make this such a successful event. We had over 250 attendees, over 70 silent auction lots and raised over $10,000. There was great food, great company and great entertainment – thank you!

 

Thank you very much to Rosemary Lang who held a Lunch Fundraiser during the fall of 2005. Through Rosemary’s hard work and excellent cooking skills she was able to raise over $500 for Rubina Hope for Kids – thank you Rosemary!

Alexandra Dean very generously helped Rubina Hope for Kids raise over $700 on December 15th, 2005 during a “Free Dress Day” at Collingwood School, North Vancouver. Alexandra’s bighearted enthusiasm is greatly appreciated by Rubina Hope for Kids – a big thank you to Alexandra and the students of Collingwood School.

 

A big thanks to Daisy Lemay for organizing this fund raiser on our behalf. It was an excellent night of good food and great live entertainment. We raised over $400 – thank you to everyone who joined us for such a spectacular night.

 

We would like to thank UBC Alumni for allowing us to be part of their Pancake Breakfast on October 1.

Sue and Darcy McMahon's Wedding 2005
We would like to thank Sue and Darcy for their generosity. At their wedding, held July 30, instead of giving out traditional wedding favors to guest, they donated the money that would have been spent to Rubina Hope for Kids. Each guest received a ribbon wrapped scroll which explained to them this wonderful gesture.

Cara Golf Tournament 2005
Thank you very much to Cara Operations Ltd for allowing us to be at their golf tournament this year. Also thank you to Andrew for his cookie donations and to Jody and Clara for donating their masseuse services. Altogether we raised $600 at this event. Thank you everyone for supporting us.

Skybar Nightclub Event 2005
Thank you to everyone who supported us by coming out for a night of fun, dancing and drinks at the Skybar. This event raised $1200.

Yoga Event 2005
We would like to thank City Yoga for allowing us to be part of the David Swenson Demonstration Fundraiser. The event was fun and there was a great turnout. They raised just over $1100.00 for Rubina Hope for Kids. Thank you to everyone who participated!
